Day 1

Relax and become acquainted with your new, beautiful surroundings. Step into the gentle and happy Bhutanese culture. Tune in to the peace emanated by the almost surreal nature. Experience forest bathing and cleanse from stress with a guided walking meditation. Ground yourself and connect with the land in a light outdoor yoga session. Finish your first day with a soothing meal of traditional Bhutanese delicacies.

Day 2

Begin your day with a yoga session designed to boost your energy. Dive into culture at the National Textile Museum and witness first hand why weaving is considered a high art in Bhutan. Travel back in time exploring the country’s very first fortress, built in 1637. End the day with a nighttime yoga practice to calm and center the mind for restful sleep.

Day 3

Sunrise yoga outdoors to give you a fresh start. Take in some of the most breathtaking views in all of Bhutan at the remarkable Dochula Pass. Examine one of the finest examples of the Kingdom’s architecture at Punahka Dzong, a stunning fortress built at the meeting point of two rivers. Decompress after a long day of travel with a peaceful practice upon arrival.

Day 4

Charge your energy with morning yoga and meditation. Explore new surroundings in Punahka. Marvel at one of the most unique temples in the world at Chimi Lhakhang and learn the story of the Divine Madman, one of the most influential teachers in all of Bhutan’s history. Couples travel here from all over the world for fertility blessings, and many have received quite pleasant surprises after they visit. Finish the day with a an utterly relaxing hot stone bath, using special rocks carefully selected from mountain streams.

Day 5

Travel to one of the spiritual centers of Bhutan in Gangtey. Welcome the feeling of astonishment as you gaze at the Black Mountains from the glacial valley of Phobjika. Black neck cranes migrate here in the winters and can be seen from a special viewing center. Stop by and get to know Gangtey Gompa Monastery which was founded by one of the most important ancient Buddhist Masters of Bhutan.

Day 6

Return to Gompa Monastery for a special Lhabsang Thruesel Ceremony performed by accomplished monks. This ceremony is meant for long life, spiritual purification, and celebration of new beginnings. Expand your mind with an interactive session learning to build sacred sand mandalas, a Tibetan tool for gaining wisdom and compassion. Experience yoga led by a monk in the meditation room of the ancient monastery.

Day 7

Find inspiration traveling through the varied Himalayan landscapes en route to Paro. Enjoy momos for lunch at a favorite local place. Find balance and peace with a simple nighttime yoga practice. Relax in the warmth of a hot stone bath.

Day 8

Connect with your profound insights during a rigorous morning practice. Escape for a few hours to explore the 7th century at Kyichu Temple and museum. Set prayer flags with special intentions for the future. Flow through the late afternoon with some outdoor Vinyasa.

Day 9

Solo practice in a gorgeous location. Soak in the views afterwards as you picnic and hike around the picturesque Chele La Pass.

Day 10

Experience the awe and wonder of the Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
