Day 1

Acquaint yourself with the beautiful culture of Bhutan as you visit one of the country’s most important monasteries where countless monks have trained.

Day 2

Immerse in the arts at a traditional school which provides free education, food, and housing to underprivileged youths. End the day with a fascinating look at Bhutan’s principles of Gross National Happiness in a private session with an accomplished monk. Profoundly relax with a traditional hot stone bath.

Day 3

Experience Buddhist Architetcure designed to emanate peace to the world at the National Memorial Chorten. Watch and even take part in the daily rituals there. Get lost in the intricacies of ancient traditional patterns at the National Textile Museum. Learn to program your mind for happiness in a personal lecture with Khenpo Tashi

Day 4

Witness the glory of the tallest peaks of Bhutan from Dochula Pass along the road to Punahka. Upon arrival, visit the most beautiful fortresses in the country, Punahka Dzong, which was the former seat of power and politics of the kingdom during medieval times. End the day with Khenpo Tashi and a special look at empathy and compassion through a western lens.

Day 5

Visit the world famous fertility temple of Chimi Lhakhang and learn the fascinating story of “The Divine Madman,” one of Bhutan’s most interesting and influential monks. Take in the surreal view at another one of the most special temples in Bhutan. Find peace with a calming guided meditation. Enjoy a colorful Sacred Mask Dance Performance.

Day 6

Travel through the rugged hills South of Thimphu en route to the Haa Valley. Witness the sanctity of Sissinang Nunnery, a monastic center dedicated to women. Enjoy dinner at a farmhouse. Dig deeper into the principles of Gross National Happiness with the governer of Haa.

Day 7

Experience the duality of the White and Black temples. Bathe in the serene nature of Haa and see village life up close in Yangthang. Relax after a good day with a hot stone bath using traditional river stones.

Day 8

Dive into historical treasures and examine the unique architectural wonder that is Ta Dzong, the National Museum. Take a special tour, as our very own Khenpo Tashi is the director of the museum. Afterwards, an interactive session about the unique and profound form of Buddhism practiced in Bhutan, Tibet, and other parts of the Himalayas.

Day 9

Step back in time and walk in the footsteps of the Buddhist Masters of antiquity. Find presence during a mindfulness practice with meditation master Neyphug Rinpoche. Visit some of the oldest sacred places in Bhutan. Finish the day reflecting on new experiences and perspectives in a guided group discussion.

Day 10

Hike up to the most well-known and spectacular sight in Bhutan, the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Hike up with presence and mindfulness to fully engage as you visit one of the most majestic places in the world. Khenpo Tashi will give a special talk by the river below, where he came to many important realizations about his path.



There are only two airlines, DrukAir and Bhutan Airlines, which fly into Bhutan and only from specific connecting airports (Bangkok, Singapore, New Delhi).
